Welcome from Our President

As President of Temple Adath Israel, and on behalf of our Board of Trustees, staff, and members, I welcome you to our website. Temple Adath Israel, a Reform Jewish congregation, affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, has a long and rich history of spiritual and social engagement in Lexington, Kentucky that extends over 100 years. We are a community honoring the dignity we all share as children of Adonai (the one God) by embracing these enduring Jewish values: AVODAH (Worship); TALMUD TORAH (Torah Study); TZEDEK (Social Justice); and KEHILAH (Community). These cornerstones are reflected in our religious services, our strong youth and adult education programs, our commitment to social action, and the many community activities we sponsor throughout the year. We warmly welcome all members, non-members, and visitors passing through Lexington, and hope that you consider Temple Adath Israel to be your Jewish home.
